Introduction to the Parish:

The parish of Littleton & Harestock lies on the downs, about three miles north-west of Winchester in Hampshire, England, between the Roman road to Cirencester (B3420) and the Stockbridge road (B3049). There are approximately 2,800 people on the electoral role and Littleton has some 600 homes while the newer settlement of Harestock has around 800.

The parish has some important ancient tumuli sites and a history dating from the Bronze Age. The community is well served by churches, schools, pubs, post office, local shops and businesses. There are extensive sports and recreational facilities in Littleton, together with the Memorial Hall which provides a venue for many local activities.
